A pleasant walk to Green Lake, located at an altitude of 1545 meters, it takes about 6 hours from the place Biela Voda or Tatranské Matliare. We had a faster pace, we went up in 2.5 hours and down in 2 hours. The path leads along the yellow or green trail, where you can meet many cyclists or runners.
This tour is also suitable for families or older people.
The cottage at the Green Lake pleasantly surprised me. We could enjoy a fruitful selection of dishes at affordable prices. I recommend hiking in the High Tatras especially during the week, during the weekend there are more people in the Tatras, especially in the summer.
Finally, the interestingness of this greenish water color is colored from the springs that rise from the bottom of the lake.
